$2.99, $3.17, $3.07, $3.37 today... <edit>, Make up your mind gas gougers...
3 days ago $2.99, today $3.37......<edit>....who sets these prices. Differs on every fill up....I am so sick of this crap..Truck for sale on Ebay today.....I hate to do it but I don't tow anything. I just like big trucks. One of the reasons I went for diesel was the fuel prices always being less that regular gas. 60 cents higher than reg unleaded is BS...in 03/03 when I bought my truck it was $1.39 a gallon.....Never see than again....
Guys its been fun, thanks for all the help on different topics. Love the Dodge wouldn't drive anything else, but its gonna go...sick of $100.00 + fillups.... Chris |
I'm really getting to wonder if the diesel fuel users subsidizing the lower gasoline prices.
Guess the diesel fuel users don't scream as loud as the guzzling gasser crowd. [eyecrazy] MikeyB |
Chrismez, I hate to see you go but it could be a good thing. After all, if EVERYONE starts selling their trucks (or quits buying new diesels) then the demand for diesel fuel will go down and the price will follow. That's good for me.
Like you said though, we are seeing price gouging at its best. It's ridiculous. |
Don't sell..........convert your truck to run vegetable oil. If lots of us did that, it could impact the price of diesel......maybe?

Chris,
I'm not sure how the PROK has been for the last few years, but diesel has been more expensive than gasoline for almost the entire time I have owned my truck. Not by much, but about $0.10-$0.15 a gallon on average. |

A 30 cent per gallon increase is explainable. I've been tracking wholesale prices for about a month. I was told a $1.00 per barrel increase in price amounts to 20 cents at the pump. The past week has seen an increase of about $1.50 to $67 per barrel (30 cent increase at the pump), tonight it is $65.50, if it holds there for several days, the price should drop by 30 cents a gallon (don't hold your breath). I don't doubt there is some gouging going on, but $2.90 to $3.00 should be where the price is based on around a $68 per barrel price. Makes sense based on what I was told. I am not an oil analyst nor do I play one on TV. Web site to track market prices below....

Hey Guys, I'm seriously thinking about buying this, I saw it on Trucks! He tried the fuel he made from this kit on a Stock 24v. All you need is a McDonalds and Methanol and you get fuel with more lubricity, gives your truck more power, and better fuel mileage for only .70 cents a gallon!
