I want to do the same thing. However, only commerical rigs can pull double on the interstates with permits from DOT.
I've heard, but can't confirm, snow birds coming down 75 in the fall get tagged by DOT with warnings about the double tow. Now I don't know what the purpose of the warrning if in March they head back north. http://www.actiondonation.org/articl...wing-laws.html http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2009/02...ouble-tow.html Got to come over more often. |
thanks for the reply i have read on internet abunch of differant stuff but nothing really said yes or no

I have heard it is illegal here in FL, but I did see a '97 F-350 Powerstroke with a 5th wheel trailer and a boat behind the 5th wheel about a year ago on I-95.
