when i lived in fla i pulled two air boats about twice a month for about a year before my buddy got his truck but that was about 4 years ago but i never had any trouble.

I want to do the same thing. However, only commerical rigs can pull double on the interstates with permits from DOT.

I've heard, but can't confirm, snow birds coming down 75 in the fall get tagged by DOT with warnings about the double tow. Now I don't know what the purpose of the warrning if in March they head back north.

I have heard it is illegal here in FL, but I did see a '97 F-350 Powerstroke with a 5th wheel trailer and a boat behind the 5th wheel about a year ago on I-95.
