So I was scouring the new Genos Catalog, I came across the fuel section, and saw Fleece Diesel is making a sender that says 91-97 cummins. Now will this actually work with our trucks? Why does it not say '89--'97 I can not believe the first gen tank is the same as the second gen. Help me understand!! My fuel level has always been all over the place I would love to change it. https://www.fleeceperformance.com/fu...e-cummins.html

Changed out the front brake pads today, and shocks. I fired up engine to test drive and when I applied the brakes (hydroboost) at the road's edge, the pedal went to the floor and stayed there. All the brakes were locked up. I cracked the two brake lines on bottom of proportioning valve and a tiny amout of fluid came out. That apparently relieved enough pressure to allow me to back truck off road's edge into the back yard. Now truck in yard, but no brakes, and pedal still on floor. (Fortunately I was backing up hill) Any one have any ideas what's going on? All I did was compress calipers to get new shoes on.

Anybody else headed out to this event the first weekend in June?
Robert from 1st Gen Industries is putting it on.
There will be a Cummins factory tour and a truck show for the 1st 200 1st gen trucks [ I personally checked with Robert and my '89 12V Ramcharger counts]. He is also planning Sled pulls, Dyno runs, Drag racing and a lot of hanging out and talking 1st gens....Should be fun. I am looking forward too watching some Cummins diesel truck drag racing.

Charlotte and I are headed out in our 2wd '89 Ramcharger, that I converted to a 12V 5 speed 4x4 riding on Dana 60F/70s and a W250 frame and suspension. Looks like a 18 HR drive out there for us! We are driving out and then camping out in out RC for the long weekend.
This will not be a tow out the show truck sort of trip...I like to drive my "junk". I am going to swap out the 3rd gen 17 inch rim and tire combo that has been on there for 9 years for something with fresh rubbers. Going with some 285s on some 16 inch bullet hole style aluminum rims

For those that have been going to the Carlilse Mopar car show and hanging with us...My buddy "Island Bill" should be convoying out with us in his twin turbo'ed, 20K paint jobbed, W250.
