no hint or nudge implied. I actually want to drive it with the 4:10, then with the 3:54 to see the difference. Get your own trucks where you want them, then worry about me.

ya i was kidding, as long as you dont do serious off roading or are really hard on things the 44 should hold up for quite some time.

I did not get the axle in yet. Got invited to dinner. Will get it in tomorrow. Then I will work on the exhaust. After that, the body. Thinking about running the true 3" pipe off the turbo and past the t-case then split it into my two 2 1/2 from the almost new 440 pipes. Otherwise i do not have enough pipe to get it out from under the truck. What do you think? Will it soud right with the dual outlets behind the rear tires? The more I think about it the less I like it. Nevermind.

you dont have to tail pipes that are 3inch off your donors?
if so then you just cut one to fit to the drivers side.

I just ended the exhaust about a foot behind the case. That's all I'll do for now. If it is too loud, I will stick on one of my stock mufflers. May try to put on the body tomorrow, but I do not know how much time I will get after church and family stuff. I still need to fix up the delivery and return lines at the tank. I ran the hard lines from the engine back, though.

Been too busy installing a turned down elbow to post. Actually, I finished up the tank and fixed up the tranny harness. Then, I put the body back on. Then, for grins, we hooked-up the fuel solenoid and battery cables and torched it off. There was no fuel in the tank, and no radiator, and no intercooler, but we just ran the fuel out of the filter. It was cool. I have had this engine for over a year, even drove from Salem, Oregon to Reno and back in about 32 hours with just me and the dog to get the donor, but this was the first time I heard it run. Waiting for the video. Hint, Hint, poke, poke.

Thanks to Alwaysworking for his help the other night.

Check the cummins ramcharger blog in my sig for updated pics and details.
