4BT swap from 6BT

hey-Hey!!!,
What does it take to put a 4BT in place of a 6BT? It bothers me not at all to have two cylinders wirth of space ahead of the motor. Drawings of mounts leave me more questions though.
cheers,
Douglas

You want to pull your 6bt and put in a 4bt? Thats the weirdest thing I've ever heard. I mean, you can do what you want, but I've never heard of that.

Thats like asking someone to pull the 426 Hemi of a Cuda and put in a 4 cylinder....

Thanks. That comming from somebody who'd sell one of them...and then claim to miss it....high praise indeed.

So anyway, you like living with 426 Hemi? Really? Have you ever done it? I would not put a B-series in the same sentence with one ov them. 392 maybe...
cheers,
Douglas

I sold it because I couldn't put my child in the back. I bought another with the backseat (see updated signature), so now I can.

I think I'd hate the fuel mileage of a 426, but I'd love driving it.

Douglas, I cannot tell you specifically how far back to move the mounts, but it sure looks like you can bolt the original Dodge mounts to the 4BT and just move the frame mounts back.

As soon as I find a set that aren't overpriced, I intend to find out!
