41 Plymouth with 12 valve

41' Plymouth 2 door sedan.
90' 12 valve with 100k on it
727 tranny getting a fresh rebuild
Frame is from a 76'd100. Used to be a Navy truck with 32k on it.

In the past 6 months I've done a lot with the car and finally got the motor and tranny mocked up. Also got the motor fired up and it helped with keeping me motivated with the project.
Still need a few things like front springs and a radiator. Hope to have it driving by spring and get to some shows and races.

Yea, those wheels just don't do much for me either.

The first impression of that thing I thought Army staff car.......... Paint it OD Green, blackout kit, etc.......

Going to be a fun ride!

Nice, put some springs under it and the steel wheels back on and you will really have something

The wheels have been bothering me about a week after I put them on.
I might have to trad for some flat black XD's. kinda took my friends word for it when he ordered them. They do look good in person but ...... I think I need different ones.

I still need to order a rebuild kit for the tranny. Was looking at the PATC kit.
Any thoughts on them .?
Thanks

That is a pretty sweet ride!!

I have a 48 Desoto I've bee considering doing something similar with. Do you have a complete build thread on any other board? Would love to see how you've done everything so far.

How similar was the wheel base between the Plymouth and the 2wd ram chassis?
