Well after much thought.... I decided to ditch the NP205 transfercase and go with a NV271.
I will be boxing up the frame in the near future (already started cutting and fabing) and will just use a half round to close up this cut out...

Boxing the frame.
I was able to get some more of the frame boxed in... this is the drivers side where I had to make clearance for the NV271 transfercase.

As with the long term plan.... removing the Superduty leafs up front and going to a coilover setup.
Fabing out the coilover hoops and mounting....
Clearance for the steering box.... I will cut that tab off and use a .500" spacer. That should give me enough room.
Deciding how I want to do this....

Getting back to getting this 4-link built. There is a slight tweak in this frame under the drivers side... that shows up whenever I'm trying to establish reference points for measurement.

Some updates.
Have the lower cradle all welded in...
1960's Volvo motor mounts work nice for the trans....
Working on the final trans mount that ties in to the lower section...
