12v for 95 6.5 TD C3500hd

I went and looked at this 95 chevy 3500HD today. It's nothing special, 2WD, dump body, decent shape, 100K. My questions are: It has a 5 speed, this would be an NV 4500 right? Do they have the same bell housing bolt pattern as the dodge ones? What about input shaft splines? The cummins is a 91.5 and is backed with the 4 speed auto, would I need an adapter? This truck is already a diesel so the fuel system should be fine, I think. And the truck registration wouldn't need to be changed. Also 95 would mean no emissions checks here. It seems like it would be a drop in and could make quite the workhorse if it would work. Thanks in advance for the help. Should I, shouldn't I? Everyone's input please.

ps. with these 3500 HD's are they actually class 4? Because it has 19.5's on it, and I don't know what the back axle is but it certainly isn't a dana 110 like what is currently used on medium duty.

I'll post pics if it gets serious.

believe its the same tranny i would replace the input shaft withe larger upgrade and fix the 5th gear issue.you will need the std bellhousing and a flywheel

The 3500HD's are a class 4 truck have a 15,000 gvwr. They can take just about any kind of weight you can throw at them, literally. One of these with a Cummins would make an awesome heavy work truck!
