What happens to water meth mix

What happens when you let your mixture sit in a vented tank?? Reason I ask is cause someone told me when ya let it sit the water evaporates unless it's in a sealed container...As some may know I reacently blew up my grey truck, well my problems started when I hit the water...In houston we ran a 70/30 mix, and didn't mess with the truck until the dyno day. I kinda recall the pyro climbing rapidly after turning on the water, but could not really watch cause was in the middle of a pretty good burnout. Well anyways I believe this is what cooked my engine, because I been much harder on that thing then that... BTW I talking about the burnouts at Hott street at our reacent dyno day, maby someone can post a vid....

I haven't heard anything about the water evaporating but it seems like it could. If this is true SNOW should have made the tank sealed.

All I ever use is washer fluid -20* if I can find it. It should work the opposite as what you describe since the methane is there to help evapotrate the water on the windshield and clean it to.
