Tune for nitrous

Just wondering what a Cummin's responds best to on N2O? More timing or less? What other tips could you guys give a begining addict [laugh] in tuning for N2O on a 12 valve?

Thanks
Brenden

Try and try again. The only way.

Back when I was racing in the 10.5 tire classes we had an old joke about the best way to tune. ( Jet it up until it blows then back it down 1. ) That's a joke of course. [whistle] Sort of.

Tune it to run it's best on diesel. The nitrous doesn't change the timing requirement.

Nitrous doesn't change the timing requirement? In a gas motor, it speeds the burn up, so that you want to start the burn later (retard ignition timing). Since injection timing controls the start of the burn in a diesel, I would THINK retarding it would be necessary. Not so?
