My RR inner axle seal has gone out 3 times now... cant see any real damage to it, bearings and races look good, spindle looks OK.... wondering if drum is warped , causing the hub to wallow around.. but i would think that would damage the bearing as well.......maybe I am just not getting the thing on there right

Can your local machine shop check it for runout. Sounds kind of odd that it keeps happening. Or you could switch sides and see if the left rear seal goes. That would tie it to the drum for sure.

well... that's a given, I mean look at ya? j/k.

You haven't made the BOSS mad again have you? This could be some sick, twisted plot at revenge for leaving stains again on some of her unmentionables?

Remember Chris, skid marks belong on the track, not in the pants...

Hey, we could have went so many other directions with this. Bent shafts, crooked rear-ends, I thought I was doing good keeping it as clean as I did. Seriously, though, swapping parts around and seeing if it follows is a good thought. You could try swapping axles, swapping drums.... or swapping the whole thing for a 3rd Gen dually and see if the problem goes away then?

3rd Gen Chris, 3rd Gen If you're going to go, go all out. Don't ask me for money, your wife has the checkbook. As long as there's checks in it, you got money right? That's what I used to tell mom when I was little...

It's in the Rogersville City park. Probably starts at 6:00 pm. I think GWoody left some info in a post around here somewhere about it.
