If the planets align correctly I may make it up there for that.....but my truck stays attached to the trailer. It's merely my tool to get the car to the track.

motels the least of my worries......I think. I'm more concerned about the 1200 miles worth of 11mpg fuel consumption in making the round trip.....I'm still thinking about it pretty hard. Are their motel fairly close to the facility? Do they let you camp at the track. I do have a generator and space heaters in the trailer so I could "rough it". I've never run up there before. I wanted to get up there this summer for the Mopar day they had, but was too busy to make it.

Yes they let you camp at the track, I have done it several times. The camping is free Saturday night.

1980 Dodge Mirada

I've been looking at the weather up that way. Guess it gets a little colder than a I thought. Looks like a motel would probably be in order.

Ok guys apparently the word has gotten out to a bunch of the local Ford guys, wonder how that happened

Apparently there will be a half dozen Ford diesels there also. Including one supposedly making over 1000 hp Then again everyone knows those Ford guys like to talk!!!
