I have a couple of pictures in my gallery of the prototypes without the cross brace installed on my 04.5 DRW. I'll try to get a couple of pics up with the production versions on my rig.

We haven't tried these particular units on a 2nd gen yet but we have a 2nd gen available at the shop. When the 3rd gen production is up and running we'll take a hard look at the 2nd gens.

I'll say this, I've been running around with ladder bars on my truck for a while now and I never realized how much they helped until I had to drive mom's stock dmax for a week. Ladder bars really do lock the rear end down and make it so much more pleasant to drive. Mom's truck hops and skips and has some nasty wheel hop when spinning the tires. Mine just spins and is smooth as silk. After feeling the difference I'm a firm believer in any set of ladder bars. Home made, store bought, cheap, or expensive.

How do you guys adjust the length of the ladder bars with the heim joints?
Tighten them or spread 'em? I'm installing the actual bars tomorrow and was going to adjust them longer just enough to remove any slack in the links...
