Justin:

Hey buddy, thanks for posting! Yeah,......Scheid Diesel did a great job on this engine and the truck runs very, very good. Your recommendation on the "Fluidamper" helped out too and I am still amazed at how much quieter that damper makes the engine run! Thanks Justin!

Our goal now is to get kicked off our local 1/4 mile drag strip when I am finally able to get some traction and get the truck into the high 11's! That track's "cut-off" point on 1/4 mile elapsed times for insurance purposes is 11.99. When I ran the 12.1 back on 10-14-06 I was warned by the track officials that as soon as I hit 11.99 that I wouldn't be able to run the 1/4 mile anymore! After you hit 11.99 there, they require an NHRA approved roll bar/roll cage. This may very well happen next weekend too!

Congrats buddy!!!! I knew this truck was gonna be a MONSTER after driving it, but never imagined quite THAT much HP at the rears!!! I wish I was there, but.........hopefully the DR. can get me fixed up soon!! I will let you know what he thinks about the track next weekend!

Again Buddy, Congrats---you deserve it to run this well after the wait!!

Don:

Thanks alot for your kind words buddy! Gosh Don, I can remember a few years ago when you and I were P.M.ing each other over on the "other" site and you were helping me decide about purchasing an HX-40 for the old 96'! That seems like a long time ago now and it is really amazing how far our trucks and diesel technology has come! I also think back to winning high H.P./ Torque at the Scheid Rally in 1999. I won with 381 H.P./1081 TQ. I would be a "bottom-feeder" with numbers like that today!

Congratulations
That truck still looks and runs better than all of the trucks @ Waynes. It was the oldest truck @Waynes. I got this feeling you will find a way to make it even stronger.

Looking forward to seeing you "get kicked off the track" this Sunday.

See Ya
Chris

Travis:

No offense against you, or anyone else here, you KNOW better than that! It is just amazing to me that the power levels have come up SO MUCH on these trucks over the last few years.

That's kind of what I was thinking.
11.99 if you get out of it at the 1000' mark and coast the rest of the way maybe.

We might have to take the duals off Leigh Ann's truck air them down to about 20 psi just to get that TORQUE MONSTER of yours to hook up.

See Ya

COUNTRYBOY:

Chris, things sure sound pretty "bleak" on the old homefront! You mean to tell me your wife is ALREADY tired of the "diesel scene?" She is DARN lucky she is not married to me! My "travels" would flat wear her out!!

Chris:

Your idea sounds good buddy!

RAT_03:

Yeah buddy your right! I do need to begin the BOMBING process on that 06'.
I rode in one of my buddies 2006 the other day equipped with the new TST, the 06' Smarty, a full ATS tranny and a Phat Shaft 62/12 and I have to tell you that thing was very IMPRESSIVE! Anywhere from about 40-60 MPH with the converter locked that truck will break the tires loose!

Maybe Santa Claus will bring me a new TST PM 3 CR! Hmmmmmmmm............
