HotRodDiesels New Race Truck 10.5s - w/video

Michael at HotRodDiesels took his new race truck out for the second round of test and tune on Sunday afternoon. Had some rear suspension issues the first time out.

The first two passes were moderate launches with no rear end issues and hooked good.

Third run he decided to launch a little harder and see what she really had in her. Remember this is a street legal, street driven truck. Drove it the 50 miles or so to the track and back both times out so far. Not many true street driven Pro Street trucks out there. And this is just the beginning.

if he moved that license plate out from in front of his grill I bet he'd see a bit better cooling........ awesome pass, wonder if he was at max rpm at the finish line, if so drop a bit of gear and watch him hit 140 +

Last Sunday he was back doing some more tuning. Track was a little slick and cold so 60's were not the best. But ran 10.8s @ 126 fuel only and 10.34 @ 135 with a little bottle.

Michael was not really expecting those times at this point with a truly streetable truck. I believe he will have a true 9s streetable truck before he is done.
