Talking Front Weight Racks Let's See em!

I'm planning on building a weight rack for hookin to the sled, im gonna buy the Mopar front reciever hitch and build one to slide in it. I just wanna see some pic's of some people that have built their own to get an idea. Thank's and any tips as well are appreciated.

Enterprise engine makes a rack and receiver specifically for sledpulling. The cost is reasonable too.
Friend of mine runs the setup on his 01...he hangs 800lbs off of it every time he pulls.

They can make them for a variety of different weights. I know off hand they do IH and JD's.

I dont have a pic of it, but I built one for my buddy Its a double hitch design, and I have personally loaded it with 13 john deere and international weights myself. I thought about welding a single hitch in, but the frontend needed some searious weight on it and I wasnt sure if one hitch would hold it. If your decent with metalworking, you should save your money and make your own

Upload them to photobucket.com They are a free photo sharing site. Then click on the insert image box in the reply menu when you reply through this site.

Basically it is: [ URL]your url photo address[/URL ] without the spaces between the brackets and U's.
That will let you post a picture in a thread.

You can hang weights on either the front side of back side with it. Have put I think 7 or 800 lbs on it so far.

Here's mine I built. It's been painted since the pictures were taken. I just wish I made it wider. It will hold 600 lbs which puts me right at 8500. However, the truck is going on a diet and I'd like to get closer to 1000 lbs up front.

The very tip of the weights are 59 1/2" forward from the centerline of the front axle (most rules state no more than 60"). The bumper sticks out quite a ways...
