Great pull man.
Its always amazing to see how the different classes are setup in different areas of the country. I guess its according to how many trucks you have.
Street diesel down here means your allowed an intake and exhaust system and nothing else that will enhance power.

3rd Gens are gonna put the 12valves on the back burner in a few more months, just wait and see. There is so much potential in this common rail engine it seems. [guitar]

Willy91 05-28-2006 11:07 AM

Very nice pull!! [coffee]

PourinDiesel 05-28-2006 11:10 AM

Willy91 05-28-2006 11:24 AM

So how many trucks pulled?

PourinDiesel 05-28-2006 11:30 AM

In the street about 25 +/-
In the Pro there was about 7 or 8 (maybe more)

Willy91 05-29-2006 04:10 PM

Nice videos, darn I wish my truck would have been ready. [rant] Garett, how long of a trip was that for you?

signature600 05-29-2006 07:05 PM

That IS how CR's should sound...now get another 1K RPM, and try again[laugh][laugh]

Looks like you picked the right parts;)
Chris

TravisG 05-29-2006 07:44 PM

Nice hook Justin don't worry Terry won't show up everywhere this year. [laugh] J/K ya bro.

Looks like Garrett is startin to get his truck dialed in. Looked a little hoppy to me. I don't know how that is goin to work on a clay track. I.E. Stanford.

Bosshawg600 05-29-2006 08:29 PM

That was a good pull. Too bad the Gas trucks were a bust. Man I feel sorry for House I realy wanted to see that thing run. Still a good day. Soon when

Mike

The only "street truck" you saw was Justins, the others are strictly pullers. Way to go Justin.

Me too, it felt alot stronger then last year actually got the charger to lite fully on the line

joefarmer 05-30-2006 12:42 AM

Awesome Justin! I am a little curious, the truck still sounds like a 3rd gen when it's wound up. Maybe we didn't fully nail Matt's truck since his sounded more like a 2nd gen with the cam. Any comparisons?

brandon.

PourinDiesel 05-30-2006 01:38 AM

Brandon,
Interesting that they sound different.
It would be nice to have them side by side and have a listen.

It might be the difference in chargers?

Think so?

I drove 7 hours to pull out there, in the truck I pulled with!

I didn't think I did too bad taking the #5 spot out of 22 trucks!

Justin forgot to post:
#4: Bryan Brewitt 283.05 ft
#5: Garrett Shields 274.06 ft

PourinDiesel 05-30-2006 03:05 PM

Garrett
If you could post Bryan's and my run that would be awesome! :)

I would have posted those results but I didnt know the footage exactly.

If I would have gotten them, I would be more than happy too, but my GF would rather watch the pulls than video them, so she only got House's, Blue Goose, and my Pulls.. She was in the middle of videoing your pull (unbeknowst to me) and I called her.. so she stopped filming.
Sorry about that.. [redface]

Bobcat698 05-30-2006 03:31 PM

Anyone else see the daylight under the left front tire? [coffee]

I don't know if you remember me or not. Congrats on the pull. I just registered on this site today. I have been checking out TDR. I decided to see what other forums were doing. Hope things are going well for you.

bgilbert 05-31-2006 12:25 AM

No 1st gen pullers [laugh] ??

PourinDiesel 05-31-2006 12:31 AM

Actually there was a pretty bad 1st gen puller that was white and had a mean set of leaf springs.
It was purpose built for pulling. I dont know whos truck it is but they have some bugs to work out of it.

You can see the white 1st gen waiting in line on one of the clips... single stacked... Leaf springs all around makes them hop a little more than the 2-3rd gens...

fearthedeere 05-31-2006 01:59 PM
