Power Wagon
How excited are you all for the 2014 Ram Power Wagon to go on sale. Word has it that it will have 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. I think it will be much better than the Raptor.

They are engineers. They can engineer it. It appears if you order a 2500 with a hemi you get the 10.5 and 9.25 axles (same as power wagon I believe). If you order the 6.7 (which is an option), you obviously get the heavier axles. So they could make that an option along with a bumper/winch combo that doesn't interfere with the intercooler, just like a lot of the aftermarket companies have been doing for years. It's the fact that they won't when they easily could. It's already sitting on a 3/4 ton frame.

Raptor and Power Wagon are to totally different animals.Power wagon is more crawling off road ,where as Raptor is high speed desert type running. Power wagon is 3/4 ton based where as Raptor is 1/2 ton based. Both are awesome.

Power Wagon or not, it would sure be nice if they offered front and rear electric locking differentials on the diesels. Even just the rear would be a good starting point.

Too bad, as it would be the ultimate welder or oil patch truck. Probably 3/4s of the welder trucks I see in Alberta's oil patch are Dodges. Of those about 80% are 1ton Diesel duallies and the rest are Power Wagons. I bet a lot of those guys would go for a 3500 SRW Diesel with locking diffs.

You couldn't pay me to have a Raptor or any Ford with the EcoBoost motor in it.
Take a look where the intake is ...... I'd hate to see the first time you hit a pheasant, dog, cat, raccoon, etc., with one of those. I't'll suck it right in!
