deleon pulls
 

did any one get pics of the pulls in deleon tx? i went friday and saturday night. i tried yankin the sled in 5th friday night, that was a mistake. i took off kind of slow and this hx55 does not spool very well[19cm ex]. i had it up to 40lbs of boost at 125' or so and let her fly. made it another 25' or so and the track hooked real good. the motor bogged down and i was done. i should have hit the clutch but i didn't think of it in time. so i think i did a dismal 190 something. went back saturday night and did a 288 i think and got 3rd. the white flat bed of dennis sparks popped a axle i think. the white and gold dually took the win and the white 3/4 ton took second. but we did have a blast and will be back next year. but i was ashamed, they were both 24vs. i really needed to get off my butt and put some more fuel in mine. it was almost smoke free.

They were both Nasty 24valves:D :D Weren't They!!!

yes , it is true they were over valved, but i think i was under fueled. there is always next year.

hey i will be back, and i will bring more fuel. i enjoyed it, had a blast. i have had my butt handed to me more than a few times in the past. i just wish it was more than once a year around here. mike
