730pm, use the entrance by the firestation off of main st, typically a 6000 lb gas class, 7500 lb single charger class and a 8000 lb pro class. Where's your booth, Duane?

Exclamation Stay Calm And Nobady Gets Hurt!

Since the subjuct has passed and you guys are reletively local, I'll just Hijack this thread and ask if any of you or anyone you know went to the truck and tractor pulls on the 15th in Plain City at the steam threashers show.

Just wonderin' what ya thought of the event as a whole, comments/ suguestions, and would you come back next year?

so far it looks like things went well. The pulls replaced a stage act for saturday night entertainment.

I guess truck, tractors, and semis will be at union co (marysville) friday the 28th (tomorrow).

I loved the Steam Threshers event since Kevin won the diesel truck class! I thought it was a good pull, but the track seemed to have a dip in it right at the 200' mark. Payouts to 10 places was also good since Chris was 4th and Gary was 6th.

There's only one class of 8000lb super stock diesel trucks at Marysville Friday night. I don't think that Kevin has a chance at that one.

yeah that holes been there a long time, and was much worse about ten years ago. The track needs to have a subsoiler run down it, but that a real old NTPA track and ya almost hate to ruin it. And Im pretty shure the village has buried electric under it to our well pump. that could be changed.....
(If you get over the 2nd hump after the dip though, its "Next stop: New California!)
Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. OSATPA deservs credit for keeping evrything in order and really getting this rolling. Ive only ever been in the antique tractor stuff, never even hooked over 5 MPH, but ive scaled 12000lbs.
I'd like to see us get some sponsors enough to add to the purse for next year, but right now we may need sponsors to cover what we put in this year.

And I'd say for a V8 kevin did pretty **** good.

i cant believe so many people from central ohio are on this board. especially the ones from plain city and marysville. so far this year ive made it to madison county pulls and union county which was far better in my opinion. i missed steam threshers again this year. its horrible how long ive lived here and cant ever find the time to make it.

Chris snapped his receiver tube where it welds into the cross piece between the frame rails. The part was contained on the sled and only dropped straight down from where it broke since it was still attached to the sled. He said something didn't feel right coming down the track and that was it.

Oh yeah, welcome to DTR.
