2.6 Truck with SO VP44 Build
Alright now that you have picked your selves off the floor. I am doing this in stages and the pump on it is either new or fresh rebuild. I have looked at the hot rods and the P Pumps and long term the truck will have one but for now the SO will be the pump I will be going with. Will be using an Adrenline for fueling as it does timeing and has guages all in one. So I have a couple of questions about which sticks and turbo I can run. I have been reading on the subject at legnth and have come up with the following conclusions and wanted to get some of your expert opinions on the subject.
I'm thinking 200-220 hp injector or 6x or 7x. I thinking .093 lines and tubes will help with volume a little as it will leave a little reserve capacity but will lose some on the atomization due to the pressure drops due the SO not keeping up with them as well as other pumps.
I'm thinking a 66/71 in a 12 or 13 to have a chance to spool it although may not get it fully lit and things will be hot. I have been looking at some 64/74 12-14 since the SO can only put in so much fuel.
My main goal is for the fun and thrill of it right now.

Personally, I would just p-pump it. My truck runs great & is very competitive for what I have, but I would p-pump if I was not towing. If you want to stay vp, get a redline box if you want to be competitive. The 200hp sticks will work & a 64/71/14 or Silver Bullet will be a good choice. Out of 14 pulls this year, I got 12 top 3 spots & 8 first place with my truck. I have M5 injectors, Super B special, redline & Smarty. I've beat Monster pumps & Dragon fire pumped trucks all year, the p-pumps are the competition.

If your running brush pulls mostly the vp will be a decent start. But if your gonna be running in point chases and bigger pulls better off with the ppump. The whole key is you drive line set up. 800 hp dont me jack if you cant get down the track with out hopping, picking up enough speed and not breaking anything. If you have a good setup you can be competitve with 650 hp vp. Everything your talking about power wise is close, id just go bigger on injectors and turbo and look at a redline. Turbo , 66-14 or 66-16 if you dont mind the price, or you can look at the s465 s. I would run a 6x16 or 6x18 injector.

puller/toy only, or still wanna be a daily driver that can tow?
forget the whole big name off the shelf 62/64/66 stuff thats gonna cost you $1500-2000, and look for a S465 with a .9 housing. They can be found for $800 if you look, takes a couple things like T3-T4 adapter, and a different downpipe, but it will outperform those S300 based chargers, and be alot cheaper.

Assuming you have the Tranny built...
FASS/Air Dog
6x18 (most any good 250hp+ injector)
TST COMP or REDLINE
Smarty (for timing)
S465
If you have a good driveline and the right tires this is a good set-up!
