General Pulling Rules for all Trucks


*Truck Pullers will need to be at the park between noon and 1:45 p.m. Driver's Meeting and registration will start around 2:30 p.m.

All drivers must attend the driver's meeting to be abe to pull.

All drivers that don't have U-joint covers, must check the drive line and U-joints before entry.

All trucks will be teched and scaled before pulling. If the driver does not follow the rules and the truck does not pass inspection for each class, then driver will be disqualified.

All drivers will be given enough time to get their truck ready for each class they are pulling in.

There will be a $25 hook fee for each class. This money will go to the first, second, and third place winner of each class.

Diesel Classes
Class 1: Street Stock Diesel (must have minimum of 10 trucks to pull)
Class 2: 7800 lbs. Street Diesel
Class 3: 8000 lbs. Street Diesel
Class 4: 8400 lbs. Street Diesel
Class 5: 8000 lbs. Modified Diesel (open)
Class 6: 8400 lbs. Modified Diesel (open)

Gas Class
Class 1: Street Stock Gas (must have minimum of 10 trucks to pull)
Class 2: 5800 lbs. Gas
Class 3: 6200 lbs. Gas
Class 4: 6500 lbs. Gas

Street Diesel Class Pulling Rules
*All street trucks must be able to drive a 45 minute road course with the exception of the modified class.
*No mixed gases, including propane, NOS, and alcohol with the exception of modified class.
*No passengers in truck while pulling.
*All drivers must ware a helmet and have a valid driver's license.
*Trucks must be equipped with a seatbelt or harness and have current tags.
*All trucks must have a 3" I.D. horizontal ring or 3" I.D. twisted clevis.
*No modified pulling hitches with the exception of the modified class.
*There will be a 26" hitch height and all hitches must be a 2x2 receiver or bigger.
*All trucks must have DOT approved tires.

All straight gear trucks cannot shift gears while pulling with the exception of automatic transmissions.

Modified Diesel Class Pulling Rules
*No mixed gases with the exception of water and water/methanol.
*No passengers in truck while pulling.
*All drivers must ware a helmet.
*Trucks must be equipped with a seatbelt or harness.
*All trucks must have a 3" I.D. horizontal ring or 3" I.D. twisted clevis.
*All trucks must have DOT approved tires.
*Trucks can use a modified pulling hitch with a 26" hitch height.

If you turn over 5000 rpm, then you must have U-joint covers, engine cover, and hill switches if you have them.

Gas Class Pulling Rules
*No trucks can run NOS or propane.
*No passengers in truck while pulling.
*All drivers must ware a helmet, seatbelt, or harness.
*All trucks must have a 3" I.D. horizontal ring or 3" I.D. twisted clevis.
*All street gas trucks must pull off a 2x2 receiver or bigger.
*All gas trucks in the weighted classes can use modified pulling hitches with a 26" hitch height.

Sounds like fun and I haven't made a single pull this year.
