Brakes pulling after re lubing caliper slides

Everything was working fine before i pulled apart the front calipers to re lube the slides as a form of preventive maintenance. Well after i put everything back together it is doing exactly what i wanted to prevent. It is pulling super hard to the right. It does not seem like the rears are out of adjustment because as soon as I touch the brakes the wheel pulls unlike what i have experienced in the past with the rear. I pulled everything back apart again and can not see anything wrong both front calipers function and compress. One thing that seem kinda of odd was when i compressed the piston to make it easier to slide the caliper back on the rotor fluid leaked out of the master cylinder/brake booster area. It is no longer leaking so i thought it pushed out of the MC lid...

anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Might you have damaged one of the hoses?

i supported the calipers and did not let them hang but i really don't know. There are no noticeable budges in them when compressing.

It just seems like no matter what I do mine pull. It is always different though. Pretty frustrating. I do brakes for a friend who has a '99 ctd often. When I start I have to replace everything because he lets it go so long, and when I get done, the truck stops straight, flawlessly. My truck is in better shape, every brake component except the proportioning valves has been replaced recently, and it doesn't stop straight. What gives?

Spring bushings or other worn front end parts can cause a pull under braking.

Zach, put it back together again and see if it still does it. If it does, replace the hose on the weak side. Both would not be a bad idea.

after i put it back together i cleaned up the rotors real good thinking perhaps some anti-seize got on the parts and it still is doing it. i am stuck at my parents place and need to get home (all my tools are still here )

Yes, it will pull towards the strong side.

Make sure you did`nt twist one of the brake hoses around before you put the caliper back on (dont ask how I might know something like that, lol).

first thing i checked haha.

On other thing i did not add was when i first drove it it did not do it for the first mile or so (only hit the brakes twice) then all the sudden it happened and scared the crap out of me.

Yeah, I'm thinking you have a hose that's acting as a check valve.

i will look at the hose closer again. How dangerous would it be to drive it 10 miles like this?

It's up to you if you think you can control it safely. I haven't driven it so I don't know how hard it's pulling.

its controllable so i think i will just take my time. I went and looked at the hoses again and the driver side hose not as stiff feeling as the passenger side when on the brakes.

I've had that happen to me. The fluid in the reservoir was almost to the top, and the caliper piston pushed the fluid up and over the edge.
No problem unless you don't notice and it damages the paint.
