Big Rigs Talk about other Cummins powered vehicles here. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be Cummins, but it will be diesel! :)

Good Find!

And I say that strictly in a "Ohhhh Its pretty" sort of way, cause I really have no technical experience with big trucks. Id sure take it for a spin if you let me though.

sharp truck, seems like a decent price, how many miles? Just as long as they weren't lugging gravel trains up and down 23 its entire life

850k miles. Grain from Decatur to Indy 5 days a week. The dealer said the motor has never been apart, but it seemed awfully tight for that many miles. No blow by, no exhaust smoke on cold start-up or when punching the pedal after it warmed up. Quite peppy too, but I'm comparing it to my 195 HP DT 466.

lol, a geo metro seems peppy compared to a DT, they do pull though. does seem kinda strange, though. I've seen trucks with half that many miles blow some smoke when its cold. Looks like ya might need some drives not too long off, front axle looks decent, but those megatraks come with a lot of tread from the capper anyways

If your gonna toss rubber at that unit hold off until you come back this way. I get state pricing on Michelin, Hankook and BFG. I also get super deals on Michelin remolded tires. Let me know.

Thanks Tim! That might work out. It'll be a year before I'm back there with a truck, and it'll probably be a year before this one is ready to go!
