Big Rigs Talk about other Cummins powered vehicles here. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be Cummins, but it will be diesel! :)

If you guys are into huge trucks, I found this site. Those things were cool. Anyone ever drive one here?

Man, those are some heavy duty trucks. Looked like some models used I-beams for the frame rails instead of "C" channel.

Some of them look like a darn train! Two or three tractors pulling and pushing the load.

Can you say serious hauler? I've never driven one but went to a truck auction and looked some over. 3 sticks, 13spd with 2 4spd power towers behind that. It had some unrealistic low gears and a fairly good hiway speed. One had 7 winches on it, 3 in the center, 1 each side for pole raisers, 1 up front and 1 down under in back. Huge rig up trucks. The C550 KW above will probably do anything these old giants will do.

Here are some beds from our dealership all 8x8 Twin Disc transmissions Sisu steer drive axles Axle Tech planetary rears, engines are 60's proto type had a Cat C-15 but that one was stolen and got burnt. In 2010 we will be able to provide Cummins power. Pics are fuzzy due to poor camera phone.Pacific Truck-image013.jpg They are big 13'3" with stock tires not sure with the floaters. All are modified to handle the large tires.

Hank has some pretty awesome pictures of old Hayes off-road trucks as well, and I thought Freight Shakers were toy trucks.
