Big Rigs Talk about other Cummins powered vehicles here. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be Cummins, but it will be diesel! :)

The 12v going into my superduty. 2wd tranny is fine I have a divorced transfercase.

I don't know much about med trannies. But if I can find a 6-10 speed with Od or double Od. I'd like to step up the program. I'm not even sure what the F650/750 trucks use.

Fuller has a few nice ones.
FSO5306/6306, if you can find em.
RTO6610
The 'O' on both designate overdrive. Last 2 numbers designate # of gears.
A whole lot easier to stick with highway gears, and go with a direct drive trans. That way you can put all that reduction to use.

My diffs are already geared 4.30 so that's what I have to work with. I'm not considering regearing at this point.

And actually. I have a set of 5ton Rockwells that I am debating about too. They're a 6.72 iirc. Even with big tires that's a lot of ratio to eat up.
