Yuma Dodge Diesel Owners

Trying to spark a little activity in the Yuma area. If anyone is interested in starting a local chapter of the DTR let me know. I came from the Atlanta area and we started the GA DTR #40, no reason why we cant get something going here. Lets here from you, post pics if you have time. Here is a couple of mine.

Like I said, we have to sit out in a parking lot or something with a banner... put something on it like, ' Free beer for dodge Cummins owners'...

I have some flyers. Guess Ill start stopping when I see trucks. I doubt the free beer on the side of the road bit will get us much, other than a buzz and a free ride in a car with lights on the roof.

I won't be drinking it...

I made some business cards, we can make some for you if you want. A lot easier than carying around flyers.

I handed out a flyer today to a Marine in a parking lot on base. He had a black 95 Ext 4x4. Also made contact with another guy on the forum who is local. Hopefully we can scare something up. Ill be out again from Tuesday the 16th until Saturday the 3rd of April. Maybe when I get back we can try and have a meet and greet.

Creating a Yuma chapter sounds good! I am currently looking to buy a cummins.... don't have one yet. The wife wants a Mega Cab, but i just need a gool ol used one for work and then I might think about the mega cab for her. lol. Anyways, it would be nice to get together with other cummins guys for advice.. BTW most of the cummins you see rolling around right now in town could be due to the "snowbirds" aka winter visitors.

Welcome to the DTR... I assume you are in Yuma?

I saw a few NICE clean ones on CL a few days ago...

I agree, there are a lot of cummins around here, they are obviously king pulling stuff, huh?

Keep us posted on the truck purchase. I know a few things about 3rd gens, so if you would like someone to look it over for you, let me know.

I have the paperwork for the chapter, when tx gets back, we're gonna fill it out and send it in.

I do live in Yuma. I live out in the foothills. I check CL and auto trader every day waiting for the perfect truck for me to pop up. I need to sell my car first that way I am not paying insurance for 3 vehicles. I am looking for a 4wd and manual tranny third gen before they went to a 6.7L. I might also think about a second gen also with the 24V cummins. If I do need help or advice in chosing one I will definitely keep you in mind. Thanks for the offer!

Also keep me posted on the status of the chapter. Who knows, I might be the proud owner of a cummins by then.

You don't need one to join!

Funny, I live in the foothills too, out in mesa del sol.
