VW TDI MEchanic in Calgary
Guys, Im interested in a VW Jetta in Calgary - can anyone recommend a good mechanic (hopefully an independant guy) that can give it a presale inspection??

What year, what tranny? I've often thought about getting a jetta or a golf, but its hard for me to justify spending $20k on another vehicle, when that could buy a good amount of fuel.

Im not sure about Calgary but there is a good VW mech in Red Deer.The name of his shop is called: Das Auto Haus and the owners name is Chris.

I have an 06 Jetta 5 spd. We love this car. Theres only one thing that irritates me with it. My right knee joint rests right up against that bar like piece of the console area and after about an hour on the highway...I cannot sit there anymore. Its almost to the point where we might sell it. Even my wife says its a pain...especially when she sees the mark it leaves.
