young kid at the shop loves his stupid old ford so much and figures its the cats *** even though it looks like ****. anyways he jsut put a brand new 400 into it and was going on about how much power and torque it has, yada yada.

he was telling me it probably has as much as my dodge and i started laughing, and then he told me that he could haul me around hte yard if he wanted to. well that was enough of his trash talking. i told him to put a case of beer on it and i'd go teach him a lesson.......

Been real busy with work lately, and the new dog, and new wife, and ... you get the idea.

Starting to work on the truck here and there too. It's actually starting to make some decent power. Almost as much now as my Duramax.. on 6 cylinders, so i guess i should change my sig.

Things are good, busy as all get out, up in fort McMurray now. Going to make a trip to Cranny one of these days to visit my buddy, I will message you when that happens, maybe catch up for a beverage

"putting people in their place" via a tug-of-war is silly IMO

or maybe im just baised because I know my truck would suck at tug of war, but it would do ok in a drag race.

I agree Ben, a tug a war just means that your truck is heavier. (well HP helps but only so much) My truck would suck at a tug a war too.

True, but its always fun to see someone get drug backwards.. Sucks when somthing breaks though.. Bumber pullin is kind of a redneck beer game IMO

I do agree as well a drag race would be better. But they are the ones always going on how they could drag me around all day long if they wanted. Thats why I want to try them in a tug of war. As for race or tug of war Iam pretty well hooped due to my clutch, but that will change sooner than later. Although I know them Dmax's are pretty quick.

Its all fun, tuggin, dragging, sled pullin. As long as you get a chance to beat-up on the furds bouys. Trucks are redneckish anyways. Up here, you have to have one to work. Most of the super cars bottom out on the gravel roads and can't take the bumpy stuff. Forget the mud and snow. I'm lucky I live in Calgary, where the roads aren't too bad to require a truck year round. Up in North country, its year round.
