The pistons are stock 6.7 pistons that have been cut slightly and coated. This work was done by Greg Hogue. The cam is a max spool custom, also created by Greg. He also did the pushrods and lifters. The engine was honed out slightly to make the pistons "loose" in the holes. The head is O-Ringed, and port matched. There are 14mm studs holding it all together. The rods are 12v peened and cryo'd and the crank has been edged etc.
thats the basics of it

Should also get the crank/block cyroed as well. Anybody locally do the cyro? I found a place in near Salt Lake that's not to expensive.

I might do a quad trip down there, while the engine gets cyroed.

http://www.competitiondiesel.com/for...ad.php?t=79450
I saw that there was a few cranks for sale as well, cheap.
What you building? If its a 12v, you can score new marine pistons for around $500
I've been do some web shopping as well

Kev, what size injectors you running? They make some big stuff, these days. I was supprised that I told one shop that I had a 70LPM injectors, they laughed. The stuff thats available today flows way more than that old stuff. I might spring for a set of 6X18 injectors

Which and how he doing the nozzle? I guess we have to see, never know with this stuff. someone would get mad if you flow test them right? Have you if heard that you can use a larger nozzle in the head.
Kev, you know how the bottom end is done in your motor? Studs and girdle. I want to see how the 14mm studs are at keeping the boost inside the motor. I seem to run into head gasket issues in the past.

Blueboy, you looking to get pistons for the 05 truck? I don't think that the 6.7L piston would fit. The 6.7L crank is suppose to fit, but then you'll need a custom piston, if you run a 5.9L piston. I would run 12v or a 24v rod (24v rods are suppose to be the best).
