Spring dyno?

I'm up for a spring dyno.
We had a discussion going on www.abdiesels.com discussing a dyno that could handle diesels in Calgary and it came down to DPS in the southeast.

Unfortunately I missed their dyno days last year, but perhaps they would be up for a smaller dyno day?
Geographically, Red Deer is best for an Alberta dyno GTG and worked out great last fall.

Vex go under, or they just won't do our dyno's anymore? I liked their dyno more than the others. Its nice to be able to get some boost going before the run takes off.

Thats the ticket... Working with Fidel and Myron, we could tune the dyno to load what every way you want. I loved that machine, we just needed to get in and work with it more. The runs they did at Armor Inc in RD last fall, didn't go so well as they forgot all the setup we did on my run.

Talked to Donavan at Armour. He's trying to get a GTG going around May-June. As for Vex, that's the word going around that they are no longer. Will try to get ahold of Myron and find out what's going on...

How did it go Luke? Is it running like you want? That'll be some truck when you're done. I knew a guy who put a 12 valve into an old 3+3 with a 5 spd. As I recall, he had to move the firewall back a bit.
I sure miss my '97 dually. Hope your truck works out for you.

I ordered driveshafts yesterday, so thats the last major hurdle. only small items left to do after that.

I just was speaking to Matt at http://www.tecmotion.ca/index.htm about my Mustang and asked him about dynoing diesels & a possible dyno days.
Unfortunately he had a bad experience with a previous gasser dyno days and won't be doing those again. Nor does he want to dyno diesels.
He did mention Dale Adams. Which I'm not familiar with at all although they have been around for a long time.

I just gave them a call. They use a Dynapak dyno which requires the wheels to be removed and the dyno to be bolted directly to the trucks hubs.
He will dyno diesels but their dyno is not practical to roll trucks in and out for a dyno days.
Toma Kicovic won't dyno diesels as per previous discussion, so it keeps coming back to DPS for a Calgary dyno GTG.
