Luke, I'd say your workbench at home. Those little carbs are dead simple to work on.

In fact, if you understand carbs at all, they're all easy to work on. Even holley... and I don't like those.

You should be able to find a rebuild kit for it, and just pop it apart in about an hour or so.

I have also had really good luck with the Lawnmower Hospital in Edmonton. Been dealing with them for years.

Rick at Mechanical Services in Cochrane is awesome. He will get you anything you need and then some. 403-932-3802

I've been dealing with him for years for all my small engine stuff.

I'd be surprised if they rebulit it for you. Most places replace with an aftermarket carb which ends up being cheaper than rebuilding.

I would rebuild it. if I could. I've had it apart. is fubar. like FUBAR inside. so I'll have to order a replacement. for the hundred and change that it'll be. its not worth the hassle of trying to clean it, with a kit. and it still not working right.

Oh I see yes. looks like this is it. $70 not bad. I mean really the rebuild kit here and new float and small parts is easy 1/2 that to start with.

Yep. Buying a rebuild kit and doing it yourself is definately cheaper. It is a lot easier to just slap a new one on though and theres no adjusting.
