Getting Dave's thread off topic but...
Here is a really nice looking, simple cowl hood for the 3rd Gens.
However it's a cheap fiberglass hood from http://www.abcexclusive.com/trucks_home.htm who have a terrible reputation.
Reflexxion does make a steel cowl hood for 3rd Gens (similar to DiggerDave's without the front scoop) but it is kinda ugly because of the valley/ridge down the middle of it.

The factory SRT-10 hood looks great but the non-functional front facing scoop is not for me.
