Ok. Roughly (truck was slightly mud covered) this is the tank dimensions.

Ok. 2009 3500 hd hemi. Has between the rails fuel tank. ~34" from rear axle towards tailgate. About 30" between the rails and tank rolls under rails to about 34". Fully skid plated. About 12" below rails to bottom part of skidplate. And no, no pictures...

I'm in camp at the moment so can't double check on one of our trucks, but hopefully soon... (unless somebody else gets impatient... )

Hey Luke...

If you finished that turbo etc. you could hold it up and look and see if it will fit properly... ;-)

I see my rebuild skills is being put to good use there. Guaranteed not to explode if that is its only use.

Ya you see the cross members are spread to fit the tank. I looked up under my truck the other day, and I recall seeing a crossmember that the spare tire used to hang on. so that will have to go. and I'm not sure if it need to be relocated for strength or if a new 1 or 2 will have to be added or moved. because the carrier for the tank bolts to those crossmembers front and back IIRC. I should get on that too, it'll more than double the fuel capacity on board. with out a slip tank.

Out of curiosity Luke - where did you get the tank and what is it from? How many liter or gallon?

that chassis right there is mine. 2006 F450. the diffs that I got under my truck came from it, and I stripped all the other good stuff off it. like steering box, fuel tank, I got the master cylinder/booster, springs. I think that rear tank is a 100 liter.
