Dave, I was wandering through our local canadian tire here and saw fan nut wrenches there. There were quite a few sizes and very thin and the price was pretty cheap I think. I thought I should buy one of those, but just kept walking. Fairly new product.....

If you want the best tool for busting fans off, get the snap on one that ataches to your air hammer. Takes fans off in seconds. Or you can take an air hammer with a chisel end and hit the nut on the edge. not the best way but it does work.

These engines dont need as much cooling as you might think... I run my truck without a fan at all.. I have yet to have it go hot yet,, mind you I am only racing it,, but still. 5000 cfm is more than enough for 99% of users

You also have time and speed on your side. Towing a trailer at half your speed for hours on end will get them warm. Unloaded, fans aren't needed.

when i pulled my rv in the summer with my 1st gen i could get it up to 240 ,, if i just had two electric i dont think it would of cut it .But for sure most guys never work there truck to hard so , 5000cfm would be fine , but i will stick with the clutch fan on mine,,,,
