Will wheels from my 2007 Ram 2500 Diesel fit a 2014 Ram 2500?

I have a new 2014 ram 2500 4x4 on order w/18" wheels. My current truck is a 2007 Ram 2500 4x4 w/17" wheels. I have a set of extra 17" wheels with mud tires that I put on during hunting season. Will these wheels fit the 2014 ?

I'm pretty sure they would as 17inch wheels are an option at least on the 3500 with a different gear set other than the 3.42's.

I think what really matters is size. I know what you are thinking![laugh][laugh][laugh][laugh] I am talking tire size perverts.

The 265, 245, or 285 number is the issue. You can ask them to reprogram the ECM for the correct size before you take the truck.

The wheels will fit but the lug nuts are a different thread pitch.
