Is there any way to tell if the new pump has been installed on a truck? bought my 2015 8 months ago.

Dealer can look at your VIN
Call a service dept and they can look it up for you.

Go to the ram trucks website and enter your VIN and check for open recalls.

I entered my vin there and it said all recalls were incomplete, so guess none of them have been done.
