Went to hook up my trailer to my truck. I have both signal lights but no running lights on the trailer. I checked the plug and no power coming from the truck. Checked what I think are the fuses under the hood. Is there any tho g else's that can cause these to not work other the bad wiring.

You might get more/better info in the 3rd gen forum, but your 2005 may have a bad relay in the sealed part of the TIPM, which is pretty common. Do a search on "Modulite"- if all else fails (fuses, wiring, etc.) it's an easy $60 fix.

I had a running light bulb out on my 04.5 that did that for me once. Make sure all of your bulbs are good.

Whoops just noticed I hadn't changed my signature. I now own a 2012. Still working on the problem with the trailer lights.

Are your light on auto or are they actually switched to the on position? Do you have tail lights when you're checking your plug in the truck at the running light position?
