Service Fuel Filter Message Reset??
I am not able to get the service fuel filter message to reset.
Asked dealership and they asked if I replaced both filters. I did not at that point only the under hood filter was replaced not the water filter in the rear. Is this system that smart to know only one was replaced??? Anybody know?? Replaced rear filter today and tried the reset and not dice. Is there a secrete to the reset? Right arrow to reset with key on truck not running Down arrow to select YES and the right arrow to accept the YES??? Doesn't reset??? Thanks Good year 152,000 miles on the clock |
Try doing it with engine running I had same problem recently and it worked with engine running.

Reset now
Held the arrow in and started the truck while holding it in. It reset.
What triggers the ability to rest? Anybody know? Would unplugging the rear water filter electric connection and the reinserting it be the trigger to allowing a reset? Replacing just the front filter does not allow a reset. |
PCM may need update, that's what Chrysler engineers tell me all the time. Then the following week there's another update. Go Figure.[duhhh]
