hey all just p/u some polished 2011 rims for my 07 for a great deal site unseen. when delivered there is some scratches on 2 of them, not a huge issue as they will be used for winter use. i was just wondering if they can be polished w/ regular aluminum polish as they dont appear to have the clear coat on them, could be wrong just thought i would ask 1st before wrecking an area of them trying..thanks

 

Usually alum. rims come with a clear coat on them. Otherwise, the alum becomes dull and oxidized rather quickly.
