P1c54, p229f

2014 Ram 3500 6.7

Anyone had theses codes?
P229F After Performance NOx sensor Circuit Performance Bank1 Sensor 2
P1C54 NOx catalyst missing

I'm assuming the Diesel particulate filter isn't getting any DEF. I'm getting ready to check the injector on the DPF to see if it's clogged.

Can that be cleaned or does it have to be replaced?
Does anyone know how to check the DEF pump?
Am I headed for limp mode soon? No warning for it yet.

I haven't found much about this on line using the codes as the search.

I was just wondering if anyone has done this diagnostic before....If not I'm getting ready to.

First I'd check to see if the SCR recall applies to your truck:

My Truck is not included in the recall of the SCR

Here's what I've come up with so far:
I tested the DEF injector and it tests good - 12.6 ohms ( between 11-13 ohms is the range)

I found this on another forum-link below

Possible Causes
DEGRADED, DILUTED, OR INCORRECT DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID
DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID
DEPOSITS IN THE DECOMPOSITION TUBE
EXHAUST SYSTEM LEAKS
MALFUNCTIONING DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID DOSING SYSTEM
MALFUNCTIONING SCR CATALYST

If no exhaust leaks and no oil in the intake system and if DEF fluid tests good 32.5% using refractometer and DEF quantity test pass between 85ml to 115ml. If over 115ml replace injector and if under 85ml possible pump or restriction in line. If between 85 ands 115ml then SCR cat needs replacing. Test for hydro carbons in DEF fluid also using test strip (Hydroscopic test paper) must be used. Contaminated fluid not covered under warranty. Injector tests can only be performed using witech tests.

It turns out my truck IS involved in the recall of the SCR system. I didn't show on the site where you put your VIN in to see recalls for your vehicle.
I talked with a dealer mechanic who looked it up and found it was involved. I still have not gotten a notice for it.
I've checked with dealer to make sure parts are available and have it scheduled for repair.
