Ordering New Truck

Think I am going to place on order for a new truck on Friday.

2015 3500 Mega Cab
Laramie Longhorn
Dual Rear Wheel
Air Ride Rear
Aisin Tranny
5th Wheel Prep
Keyless Go
Rear Defog
Cold Weather
Snow plow prep
Convenience Group
Aux Switches

One big question I got is gear ratio: 3.42, 3.73 , and 4.10's are the options I believe. Don't think I want to go as low as 4.10's but between 3.42 and 3.73 are they any noticeable mileage differences? I know too high of gear can lug the engine and hurt mileage. I don't even remember what gear my current dually has, might have to look it up and see.

Any other options that are a must have that people wish they would have got?

Also can anyone explain the Center High Mount camera to me? From what I can gather it displays on the 8.4 screen and your back up camera on the mirror, which seems dumb. Also you loose the convenience group?

The center camera is in the 3rd brake light for hooking up a goose/5th wheeler.

I have 3.42 in my '13 with 68rfe and I feel its too deep of a ratio for towing 55 mph range. going to be holding it in 5th gear.
If you tow heavy and often go 4.10, if not go 3.73. I dont know if the aisin overdrive ratio is same as 68rfe or not, but that could affect rear gear choice.

I ordered my 2015 Mega the day after thanksgiving. Not sure when I got a vin number, but it was closer to Christmas. When I ordered it they said 6-8 weeks, so mid to late Jan delivery.

Truck is supposedly sitting in Council Bluffs IA waiting for delivery. Was suppose to be delivered on the 14, but hadn't left as of Friday morning. If it doesn't come by Monday, then I might start getting a little upset. So not too far from 6-8 weeks I guess. Dealer did say he ordered 2 trucks around the same time as mine using the fleet discount (Land o'lakes discount), and that those trucks don't even have a build date yet.

Dealer said he had a different truck that was suppose to show up on Wednesday, dispatch said they dropped if off. Dealer says not on our lot you didn't! Dispatch doesn't know where it is....I might come unglued if that happens to me.

With all the technology they have should be really easy to track these things in real time. I hope to get my truck soon enough but doesn't seem good.
