Anyone else heard anything about Flame Red starting production March 15th as Big Ed mentioned previously in this thread? I've been unable to confirm.

With 5 payments left on my '05 Laramie which is flame red, I'm somewhat reluctant on trading it in for a 2010 when I can't get the color I truly want. Every other color they now have would be a color that I'd be "settling" for, if you know what I mean.

I'm looking at a LWB SLT 2500 4WD in Mineral Gray, and a SWB Laramie 2500 4WD in Deep Water Blue two-tone. Both are pretty sharp, but mannnn I want red!!!

Sorry for the confusion in my title referring to bright red as Fire Red. I meant to say Flame Red.

Everything I've been reading still shows 3/15 as job 1 for Flame Red. I suggest to ask your dealer if he can place and order in the system for Flame Red. My guess is it will accept it.

My dealer called me a couplke of days ago and said that thye were able to order 2 flame red 2500's so we'll see. I have my eye on a mineral gray 2500 long bed crew cab 4wd, but I may wait it out to see the red.

In case anyone else is wondering about Flame Red HD's, my dealer finally got one in stock. Looks nice but he also has one coming with the bucket seats, so I'm waiting to see if I like that one enough to pull the trigger.
