Are 5th gen seats as bad as 4th gen?

I have a 12 Laramie and the seats hurt my back after 1hr. Wondering if the 5th gen uses same seats. They look the same with different covers

If your back is the problem I think you should get a cushion that you can just place on top of your seat. Try the memory foam one.

I had a 2005 2500 SLT that I put 263k miles on it before recently purchasing a 2019 2500 Laramie. With the 05 I would be stiff after driving 3 hours and for anything more than that I usually would use a cushion I got for flying helicopters.

The 2019 Laramie is very comfortable to me. I flew out to Dallas from Charlotte, NC to buy my truck because I got it for just under 14k off msrp. I drove it back over two days and did one day of 8 hours and one day of 12 hours due to some delays and I was not sore at all. I love the ventilated seats and overall it feels like night and day driving it long distances compared to my 05.
