A new crew cab 4x st g56 is up at a dealer near me for 42 and some change. If they would at least offer a manual 6 way or 4 way drivers seat I would probably consider buying an st. Cannot see 12k in options for a higher end slt without leather ect worth it.... This one has 3.42 rear, i dont think i would like that. But is basically optioned pretty nice. pw,pd,cr,tilt, cd,mp3, antispin, towgroup ect...Nice truck.. Basically an slt without a power seat. Dont know what else they add to the basic slt in the 4th gens as i have only seen this one so far, but, for 42k as opposed to 52k for a few more gadgets, i can find a much better way to spend 10k.

just wait for a little bit, since the 2010 rams just came out, they will be expensive, in 2010 the rebates will come out for them

The Power Wagons come with 285 BFGs, so it wouldn't be much of a stretch of the imagination to at least make an option on the HDs.

The loaded srw Laramie I looked at stickered at $69993.00 here in Canada, the dollar is nearly par these days. Doesnt make much sense to me. You all south of the border people have it better than you think.

I just looked at one. Put about 10 miles on it. It rides pretty smooth and the interior is light years ahead of my 07 Laramie (this 2010 was a laramie as well). I think it had a price of 52K on it, but maybe I didn't read it right... If it's 52K the price seems fair to me.

The sales guy said he knew they knocked off 4,000 on the first one they sold but there are no rebates on them right now.

I was really happy with the interior, they did a good job. The dash was stitched fabric instead of solid plastic and the panels were much softer. Seats were good too. Had a pretty comprehensive in dash info center and a nice stereo system.

He said the Mega cabs will be coming out in the 1st quarter of next year. No DRW available yet just 2500 crew cabs.

It's a nice looking truck alright. I think that they stay with the 17" wheels because the truck performs just fine with them and gets better fuel mileage. Bigger tires increase rolling friction and aerodynamic drag, which costs at the pump.

I want them to stay with the 17's for COST. Give me tires and wheels that WORK. I don't need 20" wheels to do the job. If you want 20" wheels, go out and buy them.

It's not the 17's that look silly. It's the small 265/70/17 tires. They need to come from the factory with AT LEAST 285/70/17 like on the powerwagons and preferably 285/75/17s.

I agree new trucks cost way too much. There is no way I would ever pay 50 thousand dollars for a truck. I would just wait a year for a used one with 15 to 20K miles for about $30,000. I love my truck, but Dodges lose their value more than the Fords and Chevys.

285/75/17s will fit with stock suspension. I have them on my truck and they don't rub even with the suspension flexed and wheels turned.

Yeah they supposidly fit and I personally like the 17s on the dodge. I use 17's aftermarket anyway because I like the lighter wheel and more rubber for ride, 17's are plenty.

If I get a new one it won't get anything except some 285/75s.
