Wow, the 2010 2500's are amazing. The interior is much more "futuristic like" the the 2009 and lower. The dashboard is completely redone, there is almost no road noise, steering is way smoother, acceleration is quick (but its Cummins so why wouldn't it be). I like the way they redesigned the body style, has a mean, powerful look to it. I have to say that the 2010 Cummins are incredible, they did a phenomenal job with these trucks!

When a local dealer around here gets one i'm going to go for a ride too. I think they did a good job on the design and want to see one in person.

I don't care for the body styling.... at least from the pics.
They did away with the rounded 'flair' on each qtr panel. The 2010 looks very angular and the front end reminds me of the 'big chrome' Fords.
I do like the built in look on the dually wheels.
Interiors do look gorgeous. Guess I need to reserve judgement till I see one live!

Remember the hp/Tq ratings from the factory?

Dealer had one on the back of the lot I found this past Sunday. Must of been delivered over the weekend as it was unlocked and the keys were in the cup holder; not a very good way of leaving a $52,000 truck but its not in a high crime area, anyway I hopped in and checked it out. While much nicer than past trucks I don't think Dodge will ever beat Ford on interior, I looked at a '08 Lariat the otherday and the interior was unbelieavable although it was leather and the Dodge was cloth. Either way I think the costs have gotten to a point where my '02 will be my last diesel truck... shame.

By the way, if you're (dealer) going to order and put your first 2010 2500 on a lot wouldn't maybe get a color that would be appealing other than champagne, maybe even leather seats. If I was 60 I might be drawn to a champagne colored truck.

IIRC it's 350/650.

I looked at a Austin Pearl (Khaki) CC 4x4 last weekend. Looks a lot better in person, except the new body style makes the stock 265/70/17 look way too small. And I really love the interior.

yeah, the tires are too small. I noticed that these new trucks have tire pressure sensors in them. anyone know how this effects going with a new tire and wheel and what you have to do?

Thanks MB!
Still 17" wheels??? Surprising. Even GM gassers are now 20" aluminums.
But they've come a long way from the 195 hp, 2nd Gens.
Makes waiting for Marco to un-block the protected ECM almost unnecessary!
Almost

I looked at one Saturday myself. Very very nice! If I was in the mood to drop close to 50K (im not) then I would buy one in a heartbeat. I agree the stock tires look silly small now. They should come from the factory with 285/75/17 ATs......of some brand.

I saw one at Hoyte dodge Saturday it looked nice. Price tag was 50K and some change. I would love to get out of my 6.0l Ford but 50K is a big pill for my tight wodd way of thinking. That is 10K more than what I bought this ford fo

The 2010 I sat in was stickered at $52K and was an SLT. Unreal! My '05 is a Laramie and was stickered at $45K. They're going to get to where sales are down simply because people don't want to part with that kind of money or simply can't afford to. But they are nice......Maybe next October they'll be knocking off $12K like they're doing this year.
