"The steering wheel getting more important as the outside temperature drops. I like when you use the remote start, dodge turns on the seats heaters and the steering wheel."
NICE!! well thought out. How fast does the wheel heat up anyway??

Depends on how cold it is outside. At -10 deg's F, it takes longer than at 5 deg's F. I started mine up yesterday, not plugged in. The TIP starting system doesn't allow multiple heater grid cycles like the older trucks. The truck did some funny idling until the head got some heat. First time I smell unburnt diesel from my 10.

Thanks Rick!
Interestingly, no tip start on the standard.

How you actuvating the high idle? I turn on my cruise and bump the accel side of the cruise. I can run the rpm's up to 2000 rpm's. Heard that some of the manuals don't have high idle. H&S has a tune, to inable high idle 6.8.13 I think, plus turn off the TPMS stuff. I use my high idle alot, helps warm-up. With the H&S turbo tune, I can get 2psi of boost on 1200 rpm high idle, with e-brake active. The truck warms up pretty decently.

So Mr. Blake, what mods have you done to the truck yet? At least done the deletes yet... You guys bugged me pretty good on mine. Hear say is that these fancy 6.7L would pep right up with a few power tricks.
