Question Hemi Help.....Exhaust

im lookin to get a bit more growl out of the ol girl. wouldnt mind better mileage or a bit of power but mostly just some girth..lol

anybody delete their cats (cut em out, pipe it) run stock pipes then change out their muffler to a magnaflow or other performance type?

dont want to fork out the cash right now for a whole new exhaust.....

what did you do for a cheap fix?? i have the k/n air filter already, but thats it..
anyone just replace their muffler with a performance one?? sounds any better?

what about headers into stock pipes then performance muffler?

any ideas will be greatly appreciated!!

i know, i know, get of your **** wallet...LMAO

heres how she sits right now:

I have a 2011 1500 Hemi and installed an Imco muffler from this place. www.slicksspeedshop.com
Price was $36 plus shipping. I had to add some extensions because I have factory dual exhaust. Great price and sounds good has a nice little rumble. I have ordered twice from them and didnt have any issues.

I'm not familiar with the exhaust setup on the newer hemi's. I had an '08, for it I did the magnaflow 'y' after the cats then a magnaflow muffler back into the stock tailpipe/resonator. It was a definite improvement over stock, I think I would have liked it a little louder, which I probably could have done if I hadn't gone conservative on my choice of muffler.
