HELP gaining access to wiring in headliner
I need to gain access to the wiring in the headliner around the panel that houses the lights and sunroof switches to splice in a camera pos feed wire. I can not fine out how to drop the panels or the housing and need assistance to not break and of the plastic parts.
How is one supposed to lower the panels and gain access to the switches and wiring?
This is on a 2016 3500 Laramie limited with the sunroof and running lights.
I am going to splice into a 12 v pos on ignition on to power the camera. Soldier then shinkwrap connector into fac harness then reinstall all, just leaving a weather tech coupler exposed to attach/power up/remove the camera.
any help appreciated.

I've got a similar(?) truck and I also plan to do some wiring that involves the sunroof and rear cab window, along with a couple of other things.
How were you able to access the wiring in the overhead console?
Also, what kind of camera are you adding??...I'm about to do the same thing, but I need both a switched and battery hot and I can pick-up that at the console.
