Headlights dont work need Help

2010 3500 Laramie my headlights on low beam don't work and 1 hi beam on drivers side works sometimes they work its random which side works it had hid in it when I bought truck so I thought maybe that was the problem so I installed factory style bulbs but still only works sometimes any help at where to look I put dielectric grease in contacts thanks

Hopefully.....the ignition switch is not like it is on the 04's. On my 04, everything runs thru it, including the blower motor, and if you open on of those switches up, you will see that the terminals and traces are way too small to carry the current, and it melts it's terminals, as well as other terminals. If that is still valid, and it's an issue for you, when I replaced my switch, I added a relay to run the blower motor so the current won't burn up the new switch.

The second thing to look at, is these trucks are kinda known for the light control switches to go south. Again, if that's the case, once you replace your light control switch, I would recommend adding relays to your lights. For the lights it's actually easier. Step one is replace the switch, then step 2 is add two relays on one side and use the normal power feed to that headlight to run the relays, one for low and one for high. Then supply a feed to both directly from the batteries. You may need to add a small resistor to keep the lamp out light from coming on.
